Triangle Associates, the construction management firm hired by the district, has developed a construction timeline for the bond projects.  The timeline was approved by the Board of Education during the February BOE meeting.

STEEBY ELEMENTARY  

• Construction is underway and is scheduled to be completed in September 09.

• Groundbreaking Ceremony was held April 15th (See Photos)
• Bids went out March 10, 2009 
• Drawings were approved by the Board of Education in November of 2008

PINE STREET ELEMENTARY                  

• Ground Breaking Reception was held May 27, 2009 (see photos)
• Construction will begin in June 2009 and last through October 2009 
• Projects went out for bid in February 2009 
• Bids were approved during the March 2009 BOE meeting
• Drawings were approved by the Board of Education in November of 2008
• A Playground Design Team is currently involving students to help pick equipment

HIGH SCHOOL               

• High School Ground Breaking Ceremony was held on August 13 at 7p.

• The design teams for those areas have been meeting and touring other facilities
  
• High School Auditorium, Kitchen and Serving will go out for bid in June/July 2009
• Bleachers for the main gym will be replaced in Summer 2009
• Construction will begin for Auditorium, Kitchen and Serving in August 2009 and end November 2010.
• High School Stadium Renovation and Building Renovations will begin construction in May 2010.

BAKER ELEMENTARY               

• Design teams are being formed and will begin meeting in Spring 2009 
• Construction will begin May 2010

• Design teams are being formed and will begin meeting in Spring 2009

DISTRICT PROJECTS    

• A new phone system was installed district wide in fall of 2008
• Four new buses will be purchased in the spring of 2009
• A Technology design team has been formed to plan the specific technology needs for each project as well as the district as a whole
• A playground design team will work on all elementary playground needs.
