Dream Weekend
Make a web page with the following using Notepad...
- Save it as [date]dream[hour][your
username].htm (hint)
in your html folder, ex. 20080129dream9username.htm
- For the title bar, make it say: My Dream Weekend - [your first & last
name]
- In the page itself, write a heading that is centered and <H1>.
It should say: Dream Weekend of [your first & last name]
- Insert a horizontal rule just beneath the heading.
- Use your imagination and write an interesting paragraph:
- This weekend, you will have $1000 to spend!
- The money will magically appear in front of you at sunrise on
Saturday.
- Whatever hasn't been spent will vanish at sundown on Sunday.
- What will you do with this $1000??? Write a paragraph to explain
what you would do.
- Describe in your paragraph how you would spend the money.
- The paragraph must be five complete sentences or more.
- Insert a horizontal rule beneath the paragraph.
- Link to the page you made most recently in class.
- Link to Google.
- Link to Yahoo.
- Link to three web sites of places you'd spend the money.
(Hint: Use your
Google link to search.)
- Insert three images which relate to your paragraph.
(Hint: Use Google's Image Search.)
- Color the background and the text. (Hint: Add codes to your first
<BODY> tag.)
- In your paragraph, make 3 places bold, 3 places italic, and
3 places underlined.
- Also, in your paragraph, color at least 6 words different colors (each
word a different color).
- SAVE IT!!!
When you are done, raise your hand, and politely ask your teacher to check
your page.
Part II
- Create a table that is 3 cells wide and 2 cells tall.
- Move the three images into the cells on the top row.
- Adjust the width of each image to 200 pixels.
- Insert three more images in the remaining cells, 200 pixels each.
When you are done, raise your hand, and politely ask your teacher to check
