Hardware Computer
Describe strategies for solving (and preventing) routine hardware (and
software) problems.
Activity: Unplug computer (all cables). Open case. Look inside. Label a diagram
of the insides. Replug everything.
Preparation: Put away keyboard typing covers and headphones. Switch off electricity
to all computers.
- Move keyboard to right side of computer.
- Pull USB cables straight out.
- Pull audio cables straight out.
- Pull power cables straight out.
- Unscrew monitor
cables and pull straight out.
- Set the monitor behind the computer.
