Runescape is an online RPG. (Or roll playing game) Finding Runescape on the net is easy to do. Using Google, do a search on “Runescape”. After finding Runescape most people download it. It usually only takes about fifteen minutes to install. After installation the player should create an account!
Creating an account is also easy. By finding “new user” on the home page and clicking on it the player automatically starts an account. First the player needs to come up with a name. This name will show up as their characters name to the other people playing the game in the world with you. (Something unusual is best to use as a name this way it’s not already taken.) When creating a player the way they look is up to the player. The character can be male or female, where skirts, shorts, or pants, have a variety of hair styles, and colors and different shirt types.
Next is the tutorial. The game will take anyone step through step on how to chop wood, make fire, fish, cook, attack, mine, use archery, and runecraft. Each skill will have individual teachers, except the archery and attack skills. After completing the tutorial players can choose to go to the main land or stay at tutorial island and practice on any skills not quite mastered. The more you use a skill the more advanced you become in that area. After passing so many skill levels the character will gain more privileges and be able to go more places.
Special characters in the game will appear out of no where and try to talk to the character. If the player accepts and talks back they in return will give the character an item. The most common one encountered is the dwarf. The dwarf will give the character a drink and some food. The Jeanie will give the character a gem. Most common gems the player get are emeralds and sapphires. There’s also a few more. Unfortunately the player can get attacked by some of the things that pop out. Some of those creatures include tree sprits, shadows, and even rock creatures.
Runescape is a filled game where anyone can play online and chat with a few new friends. Most people enjoy the choices that the game allows one to have. Often those who like Runescape will play for hours on end. Runescape is a great way to pass some spare time!
